Gentle Complete Cleanser · 130ml
Hi, I’m Derrick. Many aunties tell me: “Our weather here is so hot, we get oily and sweaty a few times a day, so at night I must wash until squeaky clean then I feel comfortable.” But if your face feels tight and dry after washing, actually your skin is complaining to you lah.
The first step of skincare is washing your face. Wash it right, and your skin can absorb what you apply after; wash it wrong, and no matter how much you apply, it’s wasted. Today I’ll introduce the first step of IT’S BEATTIYA: No.1 Gentle Complete Cleanser.
Product file
What’s special about it?
- Makeup remover and face wash, 2 in 1: light everyday makeup and sunscreen can be washed off together with it.
- Soap-free: gentler, it won’t wash away the skin’s protective oil layer, so your face won’t feel tight after washing.
- Contains moisturising ingredients: helps your skin keep its water while you wash, so it feels soft after.
Key ingredients
Aloe Vera Extract
Contains many amino acids and minerals; helps moisturise and soothe the skin, and eases the discomfort that comes from dryness.
Horse Chestnut Extract
Soothes and moisturises, so skin feels softer and pores look finer.
Allantoin
A common, gentle soothing ingredient that helps keep skin soft and reduces that dry, rough feeling.
Signature ingredients of the collection
Most products in the Skin Revitalizing Collection contain: Everlasting Flower (Helichrysum Stoechas) (moisturising, soothing), SHIN YAU MEI Icecap Flower Secret Gold Extract® (deep nourishing) and SHIN YAU MEI Algae Purifying Gold Extract® (a blend of red, brown and green algae; moisturising and helps skin renewal).
How to use
- Wet your face with cool or lukewarm water first. Never use hot water.
- Take 2 pumps, add a little water and rub in your palms until it foams.
- Put the foam on your face and gently massage for about 30 seconds, no need to scrub hard.
- Rinse off with clean water, and don’t rub your face hard while rinsing.
- Gently pat dry with a towel, don’t rub back and forth. Then you can go on to the No.2 Clear Balancing Lotion.
FAQ
Q: I have oily skin. Will something this gentle not clean properly?
No. It still washes away oil and dirt, it just doesn’t over-wash. A lot of oily skin is because people wash too much, so the skin produces even more oil to protect itself.
Q: Can I use it directly for heavy or waterproof makeup?
Normal light daily makeup is no problem. For heavier, waterproof makeup, WhatsApp me and I’ll teach you how to wash it off properly without hurting your skin.
Q: The colour or smell is a bit different from my last bottle. Is that normal?
Yes, it’s normal. It contains natural plant extracts, so the colour and smell can vary a little depending on climate and where they’re grown. It doesn’t affect the quality.
• If it’s your first time, apply a little behind the ear or on the inner arm and test for a few days in a row (1–2 times a day). If there’s no redness, itching or swelling, then use it on your face.
• If you feel stinging, redness, swelling or a lot of itching, stop using it first and consult a dermatologist.
• Keep it in a cool place at 10–25°C, not in the bathroom, the car or under the sun; close the cap tightly after use.
• Plant extracts can vary a little in colour and smell depending on climate and origin. This is normal and doesn’t affect the quality.
