White Radiance Cream · 50ml
In Malaysia and Singapore, it’s summer 365 days a year. Going out to buy groceries, waiting for the bus, sending the kids to school, walking around the pasar, without realising you’ve had a lot of sun. Over time, skin gets dull and spots start popping up one by one.
No.4 White Radiance Cream is a morning brightening treatment. It contains tranexamic acid plus several other brightening ingredients to help reduce melanin and improve dullness.
Product file
What’s special about it?
- Contains tranexamic acid: a common brightening ingredient that helps inhibit melanin formation.
- Several brightening ingredients working together: arbutin, glabridin, vitamin C derivative and more.
- Can be applied extra on specific areas: put a little more on spots and pigmented areas.
Key ingredients
Tranexamic Acid
A brightening ingredient with a very small molecule (about 157); helps inhibit melanin, prevent dark spots and improve dullness.
Brightening Complex
N-acetyl tyrosine, glutathione, peony root, Baikal skullcap root, arbutin, saxifrage extract and vitamin C phosphate work together to help improve uneven skin tone.
Glabridin
A brightening ingredient from licorice; helps reduce melanin production so skin tone looks brighter.
Polishing Yeast
Evens out skin tone and improves rough skin.
Brittany Seaweed Extract
From the Brittany peninsula in France; boosts moisture and helps improve dullness.
Signature ingredients of the collection
Most products in the Skin Revitalizing Collection contain: Everlasting Flower (Helichrysum Stoechas) (moisturising, soothing), SHIN YAU MEI Icecap Flower Secret Gold Extract® (deep nourishing) and SHIN YAU MEI Algae Purifying Gold Extract® (a blend of red, brown and green algae; moisturising and helps skin renewal).
How to use
- Take about 1/5 g of No.4 + about 1/2 g of 9A and mix in your palm.
- Put it on your face in a few small dots, then gently spread with your fingertips. Move the product, don’t pull the skin. No need to massage hard, let the skin absorb it by itself. Apply evenly over the whole face.
- Avoid the eye area, the sides of the nose, the corners of the mouth and the earlobes, as the skin there is thinner.
- On spots and pigmented areas, you can apply a little extra.
- Finally, you must apply 6A or 6B sunscreen.
FAQ
Q: Why mix it with 9A?
This is the brand’s standard way of using it: brightening while topping up moisture, so the skin stays more stable and doesn’t dry out easily. If you feel dry or uncomfortable, you can add a bit more No.9.
Q: Can I use No.4 at night?
The brand puts No.4 in the morning. At night, you use conditioning and nourishing products like No.5, No.7 and No.8.
Q: After using it for a while, the cream has turned darker. Has it gone bad?
Not necessarily. No.4 has several brightening ingredients and plant extracts that slowly oxidise when exposed to air, light and heat, so the colour changes a little, just like a cut apple changes colour when left out too long. Close it tightly right after use and keep it in a cool place. But if it also has a strange smell, the oil and water have separated, the texture is very odd, or it’s expired, don’t use it anymore, and ask me or the company first.
Q: How long before I see results?
Brightening is slow and steady work. Changes in skin tone usually take several weeks or more of continued use to be noticeable, and you must pair it with sun protection. Everyone is different, so there’s no guarantee you’ll be fairer in a few days.
• If you feel stinging, redness, swelling or a lot of itching, stop using it first and consult a dermatologist.
• Keep it in a cool place at 10–25°C, not in the bathroom, the car or under the sun; close the cap tightly after use.
• Plant extracts can vary a little in colour and smell depending on climate and origin. This is normal and doesn’t affect the quality.
